From sketch to showroom: how our custom studio works

Roughly a third of Meridian's orders are custom — heirloom remakes, matched sets, engagement pieces. The process, step by step:

• Consultation (day 0) — bring references, old jewellery, or just an idea. We sketch options and estimate weight + making charges with the price estimator.
• Design lock (week 1) — a CAD render + exact quote. A 25% advance books the karigar; the metal rate can be locked the same day.
• Crafting (weeks 2-5) — casting or hand-fabrication, stone setting, nakashi work. We send progress photos.
• Hallmarking (week 6) — BIS hallmark + HUID before the piece touches the showroom.
• Delivery — with certificates, the itemized invoice, and free first resize.

Old-gold remakes credit your metal at the live rate — only the new making is charged.
